Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, who will lead BJP in the ensuing assembly elections in Maharashtra, has sent out a strong message that his party's seats will be distributed solely on basis of merit and performance. "Ab ki baar 220 paar (this time, 220 plus [seats])," Fadnavis declared and set at rest speculation about going solo. Fadnavis said though the party goes into poll mode, no works related to common man will get affected, like tackling of drought and farm distress. Fadnavis said a drought-free Maharashtra, sustainable agriculture, a boost in economic growth, an increase in job creation and a trillion-dollar economy will be his party's agenda once voted to power. As reported by DNA, Fadnavis will embark on his state-wide 'MahaJanadesh' Yatra between August 1 and 31.
