PETALING JAYA: Mohd Noor Firdaus Rosdi’s good showing in the past would definitely earn him a green tick for a spot in the national hockey squad. After a spell under former coach Roelant Oltmans, Firdaus is determined to showcase his mettle for newly appointed national coach S. Arul Selvaraj. And he hopes to start by hitting the right chords when he plays for Pahang in this month’s Razak Cup tournament. I am now in the national senior team but I cannot have the mentality that I am bigger than everyone in the state team. “Throughout my career, I believed that hard work will take you far.”Firdaus said he had benefited from the centralised training camp, which ended on Friday.
