MANILA, Philippines — Some five million Filipinos are being eyed for inoculation during the three-day National Vaccination Day being prepared by the national government, the Department of Health (DOH) said yesterday. Earlier, National Task Force against COVID-19 chief Carlito Galvez Jr. revealed the government’s plan to conduct a three-day National Vaccination Day event. As of Nov. 4, some 28.7 million Filipinos have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19, while another 33.7 million are partially inoculated. In Metro Manila, more than 9.5 million or 97.45 percent of the target population received their first dose while over 8.6 million or 88.86 are fully vaccinated.
