Photo collage : BSSJAHANGIRNAGAR UNIVERSITY, Dec 19, 2025 (BSS) - Jahangirnagar University (JU) Vice-Chancellor (VC) Professor Dr Mohammad Kamrul Ahsan today said the nation has lost a visionary leader with the killing of Sharif Osman Hadi, spokesperson of Inqilab Mancha and a frontline leader of the July Mass Uprising. The VC made the remarks in a condolence message issued by acting Director of the university's Public Relations Office Mohammad Mahiuddin this afternoon. "Revolutionaries never truly die, his patriotism, values and work will continue to inspire us," the VC continued. Earlier, after Jumu'ah prayers, special doa and supplications were offered for the soul of the martyred Osman Hadi at the university's central mosque and other mosques, while members of other religious communities also organised similar prayers at different places.
