The rights group unveiled the poster through a virtual press conference titled “Loraita Bhasharo [the fight for language as well]” on Sunday. It is our initial move to generate awareness among the people,” said Tasaffy Hossain, a rights activist who designed the poster. Activist Srabonti from Socheton Somajseba Hijra Adhikar Songho urged authorities concerned to ensure proper use of such words in textbooks. “If we want to take our country forward in a progressive spirit, we have to be sensitive while using different forms of language,” she added.
