Poets will mark Poetry Day on March 21 by celebrating their love for languages, poetry and mushaira and reciting them at Nariman Point. It is an initiative by Urdu Markaz, a body that looks to promote Urdu language and culture. "We will be doing this in the open," said Zubair Azmi, convener, Urdu Markaz. "We are still looking for people who can recite poems in Bengali or other languages," said Azmi. An exception may be given for the works of prominent poets like Faiz Ahmed Faiz, Vrinda Karandikar and Ghalib among others.
