Several hundred women have joined a rally in Narayanganj to discuss the role of mothers in preventing drug addictions of the children. Around 300 women from Lalaati and Shukher Tek villages took part in the rally at Kanchpur union in Sonargaon on Friday. The speakers said mothers’ awareness can protect their children from the curse of drugs. If mothers are conscious and properly supervise their children, it is possible to protect them from the grip of drugs. Kachpur union member and panel Chairman Nazrul Islam led the rally, attended by local social workers, media persons and parents.
