studentsPuducherry May 23 (PTI) Chief Minister V Narayanasamy today handed over cash assistance to 72 meritorious students who performed well in their examinations. Rs 22.21 lakh was distributed to the students under the scheme of the Puducherry State Wakf Board. A release from the Board said that more than 600 students were also given certificates in recognition of their academic achievements. Industries Minister M O H F Shah Jahan, local MLA A Anbalagan and officials of the Wakf Board were present at the event. PTI CORR NSD
