The newly-elected executive council of Naogaon Press Club met with the district’s Police Super Md Iqbal Hossain at a view exchanging program on Wednesday afternoon. In his speech, the police super urged local journalists to continue their constructive contribution to ensuring law and order, as well as towards social development. He also urged them to ensure ethical standards of journalism when publishing reports. Additional Police Supers Md Rashidul Haque and Rakibul Akhtar, and Sadar police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md Tariqul Islam were also present. Naogaon Press Club President MD Kayes Uddin, Vice Presidents Md Safikul Islam Khokon and Sultanul Alam Milon, General Secretary Mir Mosarraf Hossain Juwel, Joint Secretaries Belayet Hossain and Shafiq Choton, and Publication Secretary Abdur Raiuf Pavel spoke on behalf of the journalists.
