Minister Namal Rajapaksa has yesterday visited a group of Sri Lankan workers in Dubai who were unable to return to Sri Lanka. After a discussion with them, arrangements have been made for the group to return to the country. “Met with Sri Lankan community who were unable to reach home due to various difficulties. Glad that together with Ministers Chanaka Dinushan and Prasanna Ranathunga we were able to assist and make arrangements for them to return to their loved ones,” he said in a tweet yesterday. Minister Rajapaksa was accompanied by State Minister D. V. Chanaka.
