PETALING JAYA: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak was all smiles as he sat down for lunch with Chinese president Xi Jinping on Monday afternoon. "I have the pleasure of sitting next to President Xi during lunch attended by more than 30 world leaders," Najib said on his Facebook page and Twitter account, posting a photo of the occasion. Najib is on a week-long working visit to China to attend the Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation in Beijing. The forum, touted to be the biggest diplomatic event of the year, was attended by 29 heads of state, top officials from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Bank, as well as representatives from over 100 countries. Leaders who attended the forum included Russian President Vladimir Putin, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Indonesian President Joko Widodo, Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte and Myanmar senior minister Aung San Suu Kyi.
