KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak today joined Malaysians to cheer on the national wheelchair basketball team in the 3-on-3 final against Thailand. Najib, who was accompanied by Youth and Sports Minister Khairy Jamaluddin, received a warm welcome from the crowd. The team was said to have been targeting for one gold and one silver at the games. In the last Asean Para Games, Malaysia also bagged the silver in the 3-on-3 event. Tomorrow, as Malaysia will meet Thailand again in the men’s team event, the hope for gold is still alive.
