PUTRAJAYA: Seeking a fresh mandate in the general election, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak has pledged continued progress for Malaysia that will not leave anyone behind. The Prime Minister also pledged to do more for the country and the people by implementing bigger transformation plans that are inclusive and comprehensive, should Barisan be given the mandate. Standing close by was Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, with other Cabinet members also present to witness the announcement. I advise all state government leaders to seek an au­­dience with their heads of state to seek consent for their respective legis­lative assemblies to be dissolved. Ministers said everyone was in a jovial mood, including the Prime Mi­­nister and his deputy, despite the im­­pending pressure of the election.
