The 22-year-old backstroke swimmer found it hard to adapt with the sun glaring into her eyes as she faltered in the women’s 100m backstroke event at Optus Aquatic Centre. The Selangor-born swimmer did give a good swim but fell short with a time of 1:05.94 to finish sixth in her heats. "It wasn’t a good swim. "It was a good experience and I'll be ready for the final event – the 50m backstroke on Monday. On Thursday, the Sarawakian became the first Malaysian swimmer in 12 years to make the Commonwealth Games final in the 400m freestyle.
