Complaints over the Dhaka-8 constituency continued Thursday, with National Citizen Party (NCP) convener Nahid Islam urging everyone to go to the constituency. Around 10:50 pm, Nahid posted the appeal on his verified Facebook page, sharing a post by Dhaka-8 Shapla lKoli (water lily bud) symbol candidate Nasiruddin Patwary. Nahid wrote: “Everyone come to Dhaka-8. To protect the voting rights of students and the public.”In his own post, Nasiruddin warned: “Attempts to change the results are underway, everyone stay alert. Those who have not yet come to guard their polling centers, please step forward.”Meanwhile, Nasiruddin alleged that Mirza Abbas, the BNP-nominated Sheaf of Paddy symbol candidate in Dhaka-8, was altering the results.
