The stay order is valid until Oct 30, Attorney General Mahbubey Alam told bdnews24.com. A five-member bench led by Chief Justice Surendra Kumar Sinha passed the order on Sunday morning, in response to a government petition seeking a stay on the High Court bail order. The former Awami League leader will remain in jail until the next hearing on Oct 30, Manna’s lawyer Idrisur Rahman said.
