Among other programs and displays of rice processing, the district administration organized Lathi Khela, Jhapan Khela, and Pitha Utshob for a festive Nabanna. Snake charmers displayed Jhapan Khela with various kinds of venomous and non venomous snakes and impressed audiences. Local women made around a hundred varieties of Pitha (rice cakes) to sell at the Pitha Utshob corner in the festival and to distribute among guests. Among others, MP Ali Azgar Tagar of Chuadanga 2, Deputy Commissioner of the district, Nazrul Islam Sarkar, and Superintendent of Police Zahidul Islam, appreciated the festival programs, participating in a rally and discussion.
