Tawhid added another 100 with Parvez Hossain Emon that ensured a healthy total in the end. In reply, the visitor lost two wickets within seven runs but opener Mohammad Shahmaz, who scored 40, and Ravindu Rashantha resurrected the innings with a 87-run stand. Rashantha continued his onslaught before being stumped in the 32nd over, scoring 84 and leaving the side on 173/5, from where they could not recover. Earlier, these two sides finished the two-match youth Test series 0-0 before the first youth ODI was washed out. The young Tigers won the remaining matches of the series to stamp their authority over their Asian rival.
