NZ coaching role comes earlier than expected for Tomasi CamaKevin Stent/DominionPost Junior Tomasi Cama, here training with the New Zealand sevens team last year, has taken on an interim coaching role with the team. It was earlier than he envisioned, but Junior Tomasi Cama jumped at the chance of coaching the New Zealand men's sevens team, even if it is on an interim basis. Manawatu's Cama and Wellington's Scott Waldrom were this week appointed as interim coaches of the national side until Scotsman Clark Laidlaw, the replacement for Gordon Tietjens, arrives in the role in June. A stalwart of the New Zealand team until he retired last year, Cama had been coaching the Manawatu men's team and working as a video analyst for the national side.
