Eddie DawkinsThe New Zealand bobsleigh team has an enormous target in mind and hopes to draft in some heavyweight help. The team is aiming to qualify for the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, and has identified Olympic silver medallist Eddie Dawkins as having the potential to help it get there. New Zealand Bobsleigh and Skeleton Association president Ross Dominikovich confirmed Dawkins was a person of interest. He used to race alongside Dawkins during his stint with the New Zealand track cycling team, and told the Otago Daily Times Dawkins would be the perfect fit. But despite the challenges, Williams is passionate about the sport and believes the team can qualify for the Olympics.
