A NYS engineer has been charged with conspiring to steal Sh24,145,000 from the institution. Odhiambo denied the charges before Nairobi senior principal magistrate Joyce Oluoch and was released on Sh5 million bond or Sh1 million cash bail. The court heard that the accused claimed the documents were from the engineering institute. The court heard that this took place on diverse dates between June 27 and August 7, 2015 at NYS Engineering Institute in NairobiOdhiambo was also chargedwith four counts of preparing documents without authority. Patrick Odhiambo allegedly conspired with others who did not appear in court on Wednesday in committing the offence.
