The North by Northeast festival will have a new look again this year, albeit a new look that’s oddly familiar. “We always loved doing shows there,” says NXNE founder and former Now magazine publisher Michael Hollett of Yonge-Dundas Square. It became hard to fit everybody and everything into that space, and that was a big problem for us. I’ve tried many things different in my decades of business. Indeed, it was a rough year all around for festivals in the Toronto market.
