Senate committee probing Shakahola massacre to seek more time to conclude caseThe Senate committee probing the Shakahola cult crime case plans to seek more time to conclude its work, Tana River Senator Danson Mungatana has said. Mungatana who is the chairperson of the committee said the Committee is still collecting information and views from the public and asked Kenyans to be patient. He said this during the official launch of the Pokomo translated bible at Idsoe village in Garsen constituency where he emphasized on the need of preachers to preach the true gospel to their followers. “The bible tells us that at the end times there will come false prophets but with this translated bible, no Pokomo person will be easily swayed. Most of our people perished in Shakahola because of the wrong interpretation of the bible due to foreign language,” he said.
