Man dies after wild elephant attack in SamburuA 40-year-old man has died following a wild attack by an elephant in Lolkunono village in Seketet Sub location, Samburu. According to a police report seen by Ntv, the man, only identified as Mwenda alias kiongozi, was attacked and killed by the jumbo on his way home hours between Saturday and Sunday. The women were attacked while picking tea but were rushed to the hospital where they were treated and discharged. Led by David Muriithi the residents expressed fears that the animal could easily kill and it should be tamed. “This is a dangerous animal and our lives and those of our children are at risk,” said Mr Mureithi.
