Deputy headteacher shot dead in Baringo in suspected bandits attackA deputy headteacher at Tuluk primary school was on Sunday morning found dead with gunshot wounds, some few meters from the shopping centre in the banditry prone Baringo North. Baringo County Police Commander Julius Kiragu said the teacher’s body was found in the morning with gunshot wounds on his chest. The incident happened barely five days after five people were killed by bandits in the same locality. Three family members, including a two-year-old child were shot dead, three others seriously wounded in a fresh bandit attack along the insecurity prone Yatya-Chemoe road in Baringo North Sub-County. In a separate incident on the same day, two other people were shot dead by bandits in the border Natan village, approximately eight kilometers from where the first incident happened while carrying out a routine patrol.
