Dubbed "Life Starter Package," the initiative, which will take effect from the 2017/18 service year, will provide an opportunity for service personnel to acquire the appliances and pay in instalment over a 12-month period. Mr Mustapha gave an assurance that the management of the scheme would continue to take initiatives that would ensure that service personnel had improved conditions at their various user agencies. Mrs Patterson said Hisense would stick to its part of the agreement, since the NSS was a scheme that contributed immensely to national development. She encouraged NSS persons to take advantage of the initiative.
