The women stormed the constituency office to buy the forms for the MP whom they described as an “outstanding leader” who has brought huge developments to the Effiduase-Asokore Constituency. Even before the women’s wing picked the forms - Dr Ayew Afriyie was declared “unopposed” by Assembly Members of the Sekyere East district after a survey was conducted within the Effiduase-Asokore Constituency to assess his performance within two years. 364 out of 367 delegates in the constituency also voted “YES” to let Dr. Nana Ayew Afriye represent the constituency in parliament for another four years. Dr. Nana Ayew Afriye who is currently out of the country for official duties has lauded the women’s wing for believing in him.
