The president indicated that the numerous appeals for roads he receives from chiefs are an indication that the Mahama administration lied about their unprecedented roads. President Akufo-Addo was responding to an appeal by the Chief of Kpembe, Kpembewura Banbagne Ndefeso, for the completion of the main Tamale-Salaga-Makango road. According to the chief, the road has been a major problem of the people of East Gonja over two decades. But today you appealing for same roads to be constructed again so who is sleeping?” he quizzed.
