Police officers deployed at the station pounced on him immediately after he took the shot and whisked him to the Takoradi Central Police Station. The arrest sparked tension at the police station as some delegates questioned the law that empowers police officers to effect the arrest. Meanwhile, the NPP Western Regional Secretary Charles Bissue who’s also a Presidential Staffer warned the aspirants against the use of ‘macho men’ as failure to do so will attract disqualification.
