Balvir S Tomar, Chairman of NIMS University in Jaipur, who was facing a case of alleged molestation here, has been arrested in Jaipur on Tuesday by a Ranchi police team. According to the police, the case against Tomar was registered at Chutia police station in Ranchi in the month of January 2015. A 20-year-old woman, who was a student of the University, had accused Tomar of calling her to his room on some pretext and then making inappropriate advances. At the time, Tomar was in town to attend a conference along with some students from his University. A team was sent and he was arrested, said a police official, associated with the case.
