NDP leadership contender Jagmeet Singh will receive his first endorsement from within the federal caucus Monday. Garrison said Singh’s climate plan is the most comprehensive he’s seen from the five candidates. “My riding is one of those where climate change is perhaps the biggest motivator of New Democrats,” he said. “I appreciate that Randall acknowledges that, and I think that’s absolutely important,” Singh said. Singh is the only NDP leadership candidate who isn’t a federal MP, but Garrison said he doesn’t see that as an obstacle.
