Mr Karbo’s comment follows a publication in Monday’s Africa Watch magazine claiming that the flag bearer of the NPP, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, had been diagnosed with prostate cancer, acute kidney disease and an enlarged heart since 2013. The August 2016 edition of Africa Watch Magazine was headlined "NPP’s Campaign In Jeopardy…Akufo-Addo Has Cancer”The US-based magazine edited by Steve Mallory claims the presidential candidate of the NPP Nana Akufo-Addo, is suffering from the life threatening diseases. The magazine claimed to have seen some medical records and they paint a dark picture of Nana Addo. He accused the NDC of paying editors of the magazine to publish what he described as a fake story about Nana Addo.
