This follows approval from the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, who signed off the initiative to allow DVLA to operate abroad. To curb this, DVLA partnered with the Foreign Affairs Ministry to directly provide licensing services overseas. We therefore asked the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to allow us to offer licensing services directly in some overseas countries. With this expansion, Ghanaians abroad will soon be able to renew licenses, acquire new ones, and access other DVLA services without fear of fraud.
