General News of Tuesday, 8 May 2018Source: kasapafmonline.comNDC has resolved problems where we lost our seats – Kevor tells NPPMark Oliver Kevor, NDC Eastern Regional SecretaryThe main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) Eastern Regional Secretary Mark Oliver Kevor has served notice that almost all their seats in the region are secured and that there’ll not be any ‘skirt and blouse’ voting come 2020 general elections. According to him, there were some minor issues prior to the 2016 election making it possible for the NPP to acquire two NDC seats although the party gained the highest votes in the presidential slots. Both Upper Manya Krobo and Akwatia constituency seats were won by the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), a situation leading to a gargantuan victory over the NDC. Kevor said, the party is aware of some challenges they encountered and for that matter, all issues have been resolved. Some regional executives of the New Patriotic Party are hopeful to win most of the strongholds of the NDC including Afram Plains South.
