A few days after the campaign staff quit, so did half of his official staff. Nearly all of his campaign staff quit within days of the CNN story, and a few days after that, half of the lieutenant governor’s office staff also quit, including top officials. At the campaign event, I asked Robinson how the departures came about, and if he asked his office staff to stay.
