NEW Bilibid Prison (NBP) high-profile inmate Jaybee Sebastian died of complications associated with the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) on Saturday. According to Panteon de Dasmariñas Officer in Charge Liezl Camaganacan, the 40-year-old Sebastian was cremated on Saturday night. The cause of death listed on the death certificate obtained by The Manila Times was “acute myocardial infarction” or heart attack. Sebastian passed away at the NBP Hospital in Muntinlupa City, the document showed. Sebastian, who was convicted of kidnap-for-ransom and car theft in 2009, was the key witness in the Bilibid drug trade.
