The National Coordinator of the 2023 No Alternative to Tinubu, Shettima, Vincent Uba, has condemned the criticisms that greeted the announcement of the relocation of some institutions by the Federal Government from the Federal Capital Territory. This followed the recent report that the government would relocate the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria from its headquarters in Abuja to Lagos. Uba told Saturday PUNCH that there was no big deal in the relocation of these government agencies, stressing that the criticisms were a debate of calumny. He said, “In every civilised and developed clime, headquarters and all departments of the Federal Government agencies are not necessarily cited in the federal capital. Uba added that the idea for relocation was to ensure the agencies live up to their expectations.
