Vihiga Senator George Khaniri on Wednesday said that the National Super Alliance (Nasa) candidate will be settled on through negotiations. "The opposition leaders eyeing the Nasa ticket have their strengths and weaknesses which will be looked into by the team charged with the task," Khaniri said. Khaniri further said that he remains confident that Western residents will back Nasa even if leaders from the region are not given the presidential ticket. He said this will be so even if Mudavadi and Wetang’ula are not named NASA flag bearer to fight it with Jubilee's Uhuru Kenyatta in the election. The senator said that they are also taking steps to ensure that they defeat Jubilee margin 'that will outdo any attempts to rig the August 8 poll.
