ISLAMABAD: National Assembly (NA) Deputy Speaker Murtaza Javed Abbasi Thursday directed the Ministry of Housing and Works to submit a comprehensive report during the next session for failing to carry out development work in sectors I-12 and D-13. “The ministry should present a report stating the factual position of the development work being initiated in the respective sectors during the next session,” the deputy speaker said. He said that the common people have hoped to get a plot in the above-mentioned sectors, but the authority concerned had failed to complete the development work in these sectors. The present government had initiated the development work in these sectors, he added. He said that land had been acquired for the development of sector D-13 and soon development work would be started there.
