ISLAMABAD: In a reply to Senator Farhatullah Babar’s query about the trial of ex-Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) spokesperson Ehsanullah Ehsan, the Ministry of Interior on Thursday said that the ministry had no clue pertaining to the trial of former TTP spokesperson. “Will the case of former TTP spokesperson be sent to a military court,” Babar asked. Upon which the ministry replied that the case of Ehsan would be put forward before a special committee as per the recommendations of the home department. He submitted a report which covered terrorism-related incidents terror during last five years. According to the report, 14,204 people received injuries in terrorism-related incidents since 2013, which included as many as 3,664 law enforcers and 10,545 civilians.
