Beneficiaries of the N-Power programme on Wednesday took to the streets of Abuja to demonstrate their support for President Muhammadu Buhari’s re-election bid. It was tagged, Rave for Buhari: Energising the FCT 4 Next Level, and involved volunteers from the 36 states and the FCT. “Today no fewer than 500,000 youths across the country are meaningfully engaged under this scheme, so there is reason to appreciate Buhari and support his re-election bid,” Akanbi said. He further applauded the Federal Government’s efforts in combating insecurity and providing infrastructure, saying that it was another reason to vote for Buhari massively. According to him, the infusion of N-Power volunteers to support teachers in schools has resulted in schools having more qualified teachers.
