THE ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has denied the involvement of the party leadership in a recent posting of top officers of the Nigeria Police Force ahead of the general elections. The Coalition of United Political Parties (CUPP) on Wednesday claimed that the posting of Commissioner of Police, Kayode Egbetokun to Kwara State was influenced by a national leader of APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu. But the APC in a statement denied the claim of the CUPP. Let it be known that our party, APC, has not copied such dubious template. Kwara state has suffered enough backwardness and under-development resulting from the selfish grip of a self-appointed leader in the state.
