A Myanmar citizen has been caught by Border Guard Bangladesh in Cox’s Bazar’s Teknaf with 1,98,906 pieces of yaba in Cox’s Bazar his possession. According to BGB, He is the son of Md Sultan hailing from Sudarpara village under the Mongdu thana of Akiab district in Myanmar. The total worth of the recovered yaba is almost TK5.96cr. Upon receiving the information, A special team recovered the yaba pieces from the Myanmar citizen. Two separate cases have been filed against the man for transporting the illegal yaba into Bangladesh.
