Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Commissioner Asaduzzaman Mia have said the police will take a few more days to solve the “strange abduction” of Farhad Mazhar. Farhad went missing on early July 3 from near his Shymoli residence and was rescued by a RAB team from Jessore around 11:30pm the same day. “We went through video and CCTV footage, call lists and other material evidence after he issued a confessional statement before the court,” the DMP chief said. The DMP commissioner said they would need a day or two more to reach a conclusion and the police chief would brief the media after that. “We are analysing information after collecting them,” the DMP commissioner said.
