So, a week before the official lockdown, we kept the kids off school and continued to work from home. As parents we felt vindicated days later as the companies that carried on regardless, particularly in sport, were plunged into chaos, crippled by the avalanche of preventable cases. Truth be told, the early weeks of that first lockdown were an important (re)bonding experience for our family.
