Photo: ODTThe Otago Museum has relaunched its museum sleepover programme for school pupils this month, in the redeveloped Tuhura Otago Community Trust Science Centre. The programme was suspended for much of last year during extensive redevelopment work, before the centre reopened to the public in mid-December. About 40 schools had booked for their night at the museum this year, museum director Dr Ian Griffin said in a report discussed at last week’s Otago Museum Trust Board meeting. The redeveloped programme includes updated gallery activities, new food options and two sleepover options for senior pupils based on creative writing and science communication, the report said.
