A museum to keep artifacts and antiquities unearthed in excavations in Uttar Pradesh is likely to come up next year. He said other than iron artifacts, stone and bone artifacts, painted incised potsherd, terracotta beads and lots of other important cultural components will be placed in the museum. In addition to the general segment, the museum would also have different chambers that will display the artifacts from separate excavation sites. Kothi Roshan-ud-Daula, which was in very bad shape, is undergoing conservation work that is expected to get completed in six months. Those engaged in conservation work said completing the work in the stipulated time is no easy task.
