Patna, Aug. 19 (Agencies): Rival factions of the ruling Janata Dal (United) clashed outside the residence of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar here on Saturday, police said. Some of them tried to enter the 1, Anne Marg, residence opposite the Governor’s House, brandishing sticks and belts. Nitish Kumar’s supporters, who had gathered there for the JD(U) national executive’s meeting, came out and chased away Sharad’s supporters. While the JD(U) national executive committee met at the chief minister's residence, the rival camp held its Jan Adalat at the S.K. Sharad, Ali Anwar and Ramai Rai, a former state minister who has also been suspended for being with Sharad, were prominent figures at the Jan Adalat programme.
