Transport Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen on Monday met the Dutch delegates to Kenya on a trade mission on port development. The CS said the development program is an effort by the Dutch Government to strengthen trade and investment relations between Kenya and the Netherlands. "This mission comprises 17 Dutch companies with a strong interest in investing in maritime and port development, logistics, and the blue economy," he said. "LAPSSET Corridor Program is a significant enabler for enhanced regional trade and integration and unlocking regional potential through infrastructure development," he said. The CS also said that rapid economic recovery in the country will depend on successful cooperation at the global level.
