"A decrease in the Kenyan population will lead to less competition among citizens for jobs and unemployment alleviated," the statement said. The Atheists pointed out that implementing the one-child policy will not only promote family planning but also hold population growth under control and raise the quality of the Kenyan population. The organisation further reiterated that the population should be controlled to combat poverty in Kenya.
